Beyond Regular Links
Lnkk.it supports 7 advanced link types beyond standard URLs and media embeds. These create special interactive cards on your page — maps, app download buttons, book cards with retailers, discount codes, FAQ accordions, and form embeds. Access all of them through the "+ Add" button in the Live Editor.
7 Advanced Link Types
Each creates a unique interactive card
Google Maps
Share a location embed. Paste a Google Maps URL and it renders as an interactive map card on your page. Great for businesses, restaurants, and event venues.
URL pattern: google.com/maps, maps.google.com, goo.gl/maps
Mobile App
Link to your app on the App Store or Google Play. Paste an app store URL and it shows a download card with the app icon and store badge.
URL pattern: apps.apple.com, play.google.com
Books
Promote your books with cover image, description, and retailer links (Amazon, Barnes & Noble, etc.). Supports multiple display modes and layout options.
URL pattern: Manual entry with retailer links
Discount Code
Share promo codes as a special card. Visitors can see the code and copy it with one click. Great for promoting deals and offers.

Google Form
Embed Google Forms and surveys. Paste a Google Forms URL and it renders inline on your page for easy submissions.

How to Add Advanced Links
Click "+ Add"
Open the Universal Add Modal from the floating button at the bottom-right.
Find the link type
Browse the platform list or search by name (e.g. "maps", "books", "FAQs"). You can also paste a URL and auto-detection kicks in.
Fill in the form
Each link type has its own form — for books: title, cover, retailers; for FAQs: question and answer pairs; for discount codes: code and description.
Save
Click save and the interactive card appears on your page. It follows your card layout style.
Books — Deep Dive
The Books link type is especially powerful for authors. It supports:
Book title, author name, and description fields
Cover image upload or URL for the book cover
Multiple retailer links (Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Apple Books, etc.)
Display modes: retailers list or custom layout
Layout options: classic or enhanced
Optional price display per retailer
Auto-fetch book metadata from URLs
Tips
Google Maps embeds are great for local businesses — visitors see the location without leaving your page
Mobile App links auto-detect App Store vs Play Store and show the appropriate badge
FAQs reduce support inquiries — add your most common questions to save time
Discount codes with one-click copy get much higher usage than plain text codes
Typeform and Google Form embeds let visitors fill out surveys inline — higher completion rates
Advanced links follow your card layout style and theme colors just like regular links
