Getting Started
with the Live Editor
Learn how to navigate the Lnkk.it Live Editor, understand the layout, use the universal add button, and publish your first page.
Editor Layout
The Live Editor has three main areas
Editor View
The default view. Edit your profile, manage links, projects, events, and all content sections. Drag to reorder items.
Theme View
Customize your page appearance — templates, presets, fonts, buttons, colors, and backgrounds. Access via the "Close Theme" button.
Mobile Preview
A live phone preview on the right side that updates instantly as you make changes. Toggle between mobile and desktop views.
Quick Start in 5 Steps
Open the Live Editor
Navigate to Dashboard → Live Editor from the sidebar. The editor loads your current page with all existing content.
Edit your profile
Click on your profile section at the top to expand it. Set your name, bio, avatar, location, and website link.
Add content
Click the "+ Add" button at the bottom-right to open the Universal Add Modal. Choose from quick actions or browse 20+ platform integrations.
Customize your theme
Click "Close Theme" in the top-right of the preview to open the Theme Customization panel with 4 tabs: Presets, Fonts, Buttons, Colors.
Preview and save
Check the live mobile preview on the right. When satisfied, click the "Save Changes" button at the bottom-right to publish your page.
The "+ Add" Button
The floating "+ Add" button at the bottom-right opens the Universal Add Modal. It has a smart search bar that auto-detects URLs (paste a YouTube link and it opens the YouTube embed form). Quick actions at the top:

Drag & Drop Reordering
Every link and content item has a grip handle on the left side. Click and drag to reorder items on your page. The live preview updates instantly to show the new order.
Saving Your Changes
The "Save Changes" button appears at the bottom-right when you have unsaved changes. It saves everything — profile info, links, theme settings, sections, and all content. After saving, your page is immediately live.
Tip: The button shows a check mark animation when save is successful. If you navigate away with unsaved changes, you'll lose your work — always save before leaving.
Mobile Navigation
On smaller screens, the editor switches to a tabbed navigation with three views:
