Welcome Email
Setup

Automatically send a welcome email to new subscribers. Customize the subject, greeting, body, and call-to-action button.

Prerequisites

Before you can enable the welcome email, you need to have the Subscribe Form toggled on. The welcome email option is grayed out when the subscribe form is disabled.

Step 1: Enable Subscribe Form

Dashboard → Marketing → Settings → Toggle "Subscribe Form" on

Step 2: Enable Welcome Email

Toggle "Welcome Email" on — now appears as active

How It Works

When enabled, every new subscriber automatically receives a welcome email moments after subscribing. The email is sent from your profile name and includes a branded header, your custom greeting and body text, and a call-to-action button linking to your page. You can customize every part of the email using the template editor.

Customizing the Template

Click the pencil icon next to the Welcome Email toggle to open the template editor

Email Subject

The subject line subscribers see in their inbox. Default: "Welcome! You've subscribed to [Your Name]'s updates 🎉"

Greeting

The opening line of the email body. Default: "Hi there! 👋"

Email Body

The main content of the welcome email. Supports multi-line text. Default explains the subscription confirmation.

Button Text

Call-to-action button label. Default: "Visit [Your Name]'s Profile"

Button URL

Where the CTA button links to. Default: "https://lnkk.it/yourhandle"

Template Variables

Use these variables anywhere in your template — they're replaced with your actual values

{{name}}Inserts your profile display name
{{handle}}Inserts your profile handle

Email Structure

The welcome email has 3 sections

Branded header with gradient

← Your greeting

← Your body text (supports line breaks)

← Your button text

Sent from Your Name via Lnkk.it

Performance Tracking

Once you've sent some welcome emails, the Marketing dashboard shows performance stats:

Resetting to Default

In the template editor modal, click "Reset to default" at the bottom-left to clear all custom values and revert to the default template. All fields will be emptied and the system defaults will be used.

Tips

Keep the subject line personal and inviting — emojis help stand out in crowded inboxes

Make the body short and warm — don't overwhelm new subscribers with too much text

The CTA button should link to your Lnkk.it page or your most important content

Leave fields empty to use smart defaults that include your profile name automatically

Check the live preview in the template editor before saving — it shows exactly what subscribers will see

Monitor the Sent/Opened/Clicked stats to optimize your welcome email over time
