Event Layouts
& Categories

Choose between Classic and Featured layouts, organize events into themed categories, and control date/time visibility.

Layout Modes

Each event can have its own layout mode, controlling how it appears on your bio page. Choose the layout when creating or editing an event.

Classic

FREE

Compact layout with the event image displayed on the left side. Title, date, location, and details sit alongside the image.

Best for: Lists of many events, keeping the page compact

Featured

PRO

Large, hero-style image with a gradient overlay. Event title and details sit on top of the image. Stand-out design for key events.

Best for: Headline events, flagship workshops, featured appearances

Pro requirement: The Featured layout requires a Pro subscription. Free users will see a toast notification prompting them to upgrade when selecting it.

Event Categories

Group related events under themed sections using the Category field. Categories create visual section headings on your profile and in the dashboard.

How Categories Work

Enter a category name in the "Category" field when creating or editing an event

Existing categories appear as clickable chips below the field — tap to reuse

Events with the same category name are grouped together under a heading

Named categories sort alphabetically; uncategorized events appear last

Example Categories

Hide Date & Time

Each event has a Visible / Hidden toggle next to the date picker. When set to "Hidden":

The date and time are not shown on your bio page

The event still uses the date internally for sorting (upcoming vs completed)

The toggle shows an amber "Hidden" badge as a reminder

Great for "TBA" events or when you want to announce the date later

Display Order

Events are displayed in a specific order on your profile:

Upcoming EventsSorted by date ascending — the next event appears first
Within CategoriesEvents grouped by category, categories sorted alphabetically
Completed EventsSorted by date descending — your most recent past event first
UncategorizedAlways appear after all named categories

Tips

Use Featured layout for your most important event and Classic for the rest

Keep category names short and consistent — visitors see them as section headings

Use the "Hide date/time" toggle for events where dates are still being confirmed

Mix layouts within the same category — each event has its own layout setting

Reuse existing categories by clicking the chips below the category field

Events without images show a calendar icon placeholder — add images for better engagement
